At RideyDash, we value your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application designed to connect drivers with users.
- Registration Information: Name, phone number, and email address.
- Location Data (Drivers): For the app to function, we collect precise real-time location data, including when the app is in the background, as long as the driver is in "Active" mode.
- Location Data (Users): We collect your location when you open the app to show you nearby drivers.
- Device Information: Hardware model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
Driver Note: Background location access is essential so users can find you while you use other applications or when your phone is locked.
We use the collected data to:
- Enable direct contact between drivers and users.
- Display geographic service availability on the map.
- Send relevant notifications about your account status.
- Improve platform stability and security.
RideyDash operates as a bridge. Therefore:
- The Driver's location and name are visible to any User who opens the map in the same area.
- The phone number is shared with the other party only when the user chooses to start contact (via WhatsApp link or call).
- We do not sell your data to third parties for advertising purposes.
We keep your information while your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by sending an email to our technical support team. Once deleted, historical location information is permanently removed from our servers.
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data. However, since final contact happens on external platforms (such as WhatsApp), we are not responsible for data security once communication leaves RideyDash.
We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you of any significant changes through the application or by email.
